Alfie Boe discovered his support act Hattie Briggs busking at London's Paddington Station last October.
The 25-year-old singer/songwriter is usually found entertaining commuters at stations across the British capital, but little did she know that one day the award-winning tenor would pass her by and subsequently invite her on the road for his extensive tour of the UK.
Alfie surprised Hattie when he dropped some money into her guitar case, but she got even more of a shock when he contacted her via instagram with the tour offer.
Speaking to BBC Radio London about how he came across Hattie, Alfie said: "I found her busking at Paddington Station and she's incredible, she's very very cool."
Hattie - who has been a hug fan of Alfie since she saw him perform in 'Les Misérables' - will be swapping the station concourse for the warmth of the theatre when she joins Alfie on the tour, which kicks off at St David's Hall in Cardiff, South Wales, on March 17th, and even includes a stop at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London on April 17th.
Hattie will be performing songs from her 2018 deluxe ‘Young Runaway’ album during the 22-date tour.
