'Fool' eerily sounds like an isolation anthem, despite being penned a year before Covid-19 busted 2020.
Speaking of the track, Locke said: “I originally imagined the chorus being sung by the Earth, or some other omniscient entity, to humans, like a loving parent to a wayward teenager – not angry, just disappointed.
“Although I wrote the song more than a year ago, I feel like it could have been written as a soundtrack to 2020.”
The single follows Locke's 2018 7” 'My Body Is An Ecosystem / Nothing At All' and 2017 LP 'Universe', the latter of which debuted at #18 on the AIR Independent Label Album Chart, scored triple j Feature Album, and landed in the Australian Music Prize nominations list.
At Dot Dash Recordings, Locke finds herself on an eclectic roster that boasts the likes of Methyl Ethel, Donny Benét, Banoffee and recent addition, Ex-Olympian.
