Frank Turner is set to tour the UK tour later this year playing two shows a night.
The unique gigs will see the singer/songwriter perform his usual set followed by an unplugged session accompanied by his band The Sleeping Souls.
The nine-date run kicks off in Dunfermline in Scotland on November 22, with two dates at London's Alexandra Palace on November 30 and December 3, and comes in support of the folk singer/songwriter's upcoming album 'No Man's Land', which is released on August 16.
As per a press release, the record is "dedicated to the fascinating stories of women whose incredible lives have all too often been overlooked by dint of their gender".
The album is accompanied by a new 13 part podcast series, ‘Tales From No Man’s Land’ (created in collaboration with Somethin’ Else), which hit #2 on the Apple UK podcast chart upon launch.
Speaking about the record, which features an array of female musicians, Frank said:
“It’s bringing together my two main interests in life, which have always been separate from each other - history and songwriting."
Tickets for the UK headline tour will go on sale on July 19, with a special fan pre-sale via Frank’s store - www.store.frank-turner.com
