LA newcomers CRITTER serve up impressively-slick debut single, PFC

It's a rare occurrence when a debut single lands in your inbox and instantly becomes stuck on repeat - like the latest Taylor Swift or Dua Lipa bop.

But, LA pair CRITTER - comprising Quinn Barnitt and Jake Weinberg - have emerged with a contender for one of the best songs of 2021 so far.

With backgrounds as a DIY folk singer and ex rap producer, the dreamy duo come bearing effortlessly cool Cali slacker pop (think early Best Coast) and tongue-in-cheek lyrics over infectious, summery beats on 'PFC', which will leave you fantasising about your first festival out of lockdown.

Barnitt also sticks up her middle finger to insecurity, with the play-on-words lyric: "I'm not that pretty, but I'm pretty f***ing cool."

CRITTER's upcoming debut EP, ‘Have Safe Be Fun’, is bound to have you hooked.
