Little Mix make seriously ill fans' dreams come true at exclusive wish event

The Rays of Sunshine Children's charity ambassadors invited 12 children to a special event to meet their idols.

Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock worked a little 'Black Magic' and brought some sunshine into their fans' lives as they posed for selfies and even answered some of their burning questions.

One fan asked: “What artist would you like to collaborate with on a song?”

To which the girls revealed: “Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars and Calvin Harris.”

The wish children also asked if any of the girls in the group could doing the viral “floss” dance, and Jess, and the 'Woman Like Me' hitmakers proceeded to demonstrate the dance move.

Amongst the children in attendance included 13-year-old Kelsea who is currently living with a brain injury, 16-year-old Millie who is a survivor of the Manchester Arena bombing and sustained injuries to her legs, arms and ears, seven-year-old Lillie who is living with Cerebral Palsy, 13-year-old Demi-Louise who is currently living with a heart disease, five-year-old Maisie who is living with kidney failure and 13-year-old Nieve who is also living with a brain injury.

Little Mix posted on their social media channels sharing photos from the event, and said: “We LOVED meeting these brave and inspiring children at our Rays of Sunshine wish day! We’re honoured to be ambassadors for this amazing charity, thanks for having us 💞 the girls x.

Following the event, an attending parent, Kim, who is mum of wish child Lillie, said: “Thank you so much to everyone at Rays of Sunshine for what you did for Lillie. She had an amazing weekend. Every time someone asks her about Little Mix she just explodes in excitement! It was an amazing treat after the year she's had and especially with her operation coming up next week. Thank you all so much!
