Spice Girl Melanie C appeared on the latest episode of LGBTQ+ collective Sink The Pink's Instagram series 'Pop Tarts' on Wednesday night (17.02.21).
Sporty Spice spilled that she would "100 per cent" be up for recording a duet with fellow pop queen, Kylie Minogue, and much more.
Here's some highlights from the chat with Sink The Pink's very own Joan Oh...
Would she collaborate with Kylie?
I love Kylie! Fantastic pop star, great music. 100 per cent. I’m there.
On Geri (Ginger Spice) leaving the band:
We all thought Geri was going to change her mind.
We all now truly respect each other now though and we get it.
The best thing about the Spice Girls is that we’re all different and the worst thing about the Spice Girls is that we’re all different.
Check out Charlotte Church's episode:
On what she's been listening to in lockdown:
Can Dua Lipa do anything bad!? She could sing the phone book and I’d listen
The ultimate pop song:
The ultimate pop song has GOT TO BE 'Wannabe'. It’s [one of] those songs that kind of punctuate your life like nothing else.
Another ultimate pop song is 'Ready to Go'.. We were all jumping up and down to Republica 'Ready To Go' in the dressing room after the 1997 BRITs.
On the Spice Girls' gay following:
We quickly realised we had a gay following and girl power quickly became people power!
I always thought there were other members of the Spice Girls that were more attractive to the LGBTQ community.
Sporty, I never saw her as being camp, but I’ve been put in my place. She is probably one of the most camp Spice Girls.
Pop Tarts airs every Wednesday at 7.30pm on Sink The Pink's Instagram page.
