Una Healy has poured her heart out on her new rousing ballad 'Strangers'.
The Irish singer/songwriter - who rose to fame in The Saturdays - takes aim at her ex-husband Ben Foden, who she split from last July, on the deeply emotional and personal track, which sees Una directly address his infidelity.
She belts out: "I was yours and you were mine solely/ Never wanted to believe all those stories/ Yeah that they told me."
The folk-pop star hopes speaking out about the tough break-up will help other people going through the same heartache, whilst she admitted penning the track acted like therapy for her.
Una said: “I have always expressed myself through my songwriting and ‘Strangers’ is probably the most personal and honest song I’ve ever written.
"While the last few months have been very tough, aside from my incredible family and friends, music is what’s helped me get through it.
"I hope this song helps anyone else going through a similar situation.”
'Strangers' follows Una's 2017 debut solo LP 'The Waiting Game'.
The 'All Fired Up' hitmaker has been keeping busy working on a follow-up to her first record.
'Strangers' is out now on all major streaming services.
