Your new favourite Glaswegian psychedelic mob The Roly Mo drop trippy lyric video for Diamond Doll

He's produced Glasgow's Gerry Cinnamon and The Dunts, and now Chris Marshall has worked his magic on rising Glaswegian psychedelic rock outfit The Roly Mo's latest single, 'Diamond Doll'.

Yes, you guessed it, the four-piece - comprised of Joe Morton , Jack Livingstone, Andrew Moble and Lewis Jamoui - are named after the CBeebies kids show of the same name!

But don't be fooled into thinking there is anything innocent about this mob.

On what inspired the frenzied glam-rock track, Joe said: “Diamond Doll is one of our favourites from the upcoming EP and it brings a different vibe to any of our previous releases. PLAY IT LOUD.

“I wrote it because of an experience one of my friends had in the past and the idea just became so much bigger in my head.

"But it’s basically about a troubled stripper that goes over the top for some clients for cash because life has dealt her such a bad hand, not that she wants to, but she’s got no other way to make it.”

In a previous interview with Lizzie's Lowdown, The Dunts said Gerry Cinnamon had "set the blueprint for Glasgow bands" like them, and they weren't wrong!

'Diamond Doll' is taken off The Roly Mo's upcoming EP and follows a slew of impressive singles, including ‘Fooled By You’, ‘If You Play Nice’ and ‘Cuttin’ About'.
